ABOUT YOUTH RISE

The Youth R.I.S.E. (Rigorous Intervention Sessions for Enrichment) at SCRIP, Inc. is a comprehensive social and academic service for youth. The program provides the scaffolds necessary to help marginalized youth transition successfully into responsible adults. Our network includes social services agencies, mental health providers, the business community and other key stakeholders who coalesce to positively impact youth, their families and the local community. 

Activities include: 

• Engaging youth in addressing challenges through the use of data, technology and problem-solving
• Games of strategy to build self-confidence
• Homework and study help to improve literacy
• Job preparation workshops (resume writing, professional development, etc.)
• Cognitive Mentorship by a clinical social worker
• Urban Trauma De-escalation sessions
