Founded by Edward L. Andrews, Second Chance Re-Entry Initiative Program, Inc.'s' aim is to help marginalized individuals navigate the challenges and constraints in society to improve their lives and become successful in their career endeavors.

SCRIP's initiatives include, the ASCEND Professional Development Training program, Urban Male/Female Initiative support group, and mentoring program, the CARE transitional housing facility, and Youth RISE - intervention and academic enrichment program.
